Welcome to the website for the Rattlesnake Mountain Rangers, a new Cowboy Action Shooting Club.

We are located between Checotah and Warner Oklahoma just south of Muskogee, and shoot the first Saturday of the month.

Well, it looks like summer is losing its power and we might get a break in the deadly temperatures to have a try at a great shoot on September 6th. We have heard from a lot of people who plan on attending, so it might be the best one we have had to date. Dust off your hat, polish up your boots and roll your carts on down to the Muskogee Gun Club to join us for some fun and great Cowboy Action Shooting. August was just too hot to take a chance on having someone keel over at the range, so we decided to cancel that shoot. Now we are all rested up and looking forward to seeing ya’ll again for an entertaining Saturday. We will start at our regular time, 9:30 a.m., and Black River Jenny (Kathy) will have water, coffee and sweet tea and cookies for refreshments. Come one, come all, check out the map on this website if you don’t know how to get there. If you can come early, we always appreciate help in setting up the stages. We try to be there by a little after 8 a.m. It should be a terrific day! This will also give those who are registered for Ruckus In The Nations to get in some final practice.
